About Katrina Caudle

My name is Katrina Caudle. I’m a writer and gardener living in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The world is as we make it. We are co-creators with the divine and each other, building a reality that is as marvelous or mundane as we choose. I’m devoted to the arts of love and beauty; studying companionship, sacred sexuality, and healing. I believe that pleasure and passion are essential to our well-being. I express my spirituality through sensuality and striving for greater harmony with nature. I’m community volunteer/activist/social creature involved in roller derby jeerleading, radical cheerleading, feminism, food politics, community economic development, and sex worker rights.

Just over a year ago, I challenged myself to stop living in fear and start living consciously, inspired by the work of Steve Pavlina. I started following my own star to find my purpose and how I could contribute to the world. I quit my job, became a sex worker, got arrested, explored a raw diet, and challenged myself to build courage and my capacity to love. My goal for 2010 is to create financial abundance from the work my heart leads me to.

I’m a child of cyberculture and have been keeping online journals for 10 years. Crownofviolets.com has been online since January 2009. It was named after the Greek goddess Aphrodite, who was called “violet crowned”. It features the following columns ~

I grew up in the central prairie city of Winnipeg, Manitoba and I’m head over heels in love with it. It is a city of community, arts, and creativity. Here I share pieces of my social life, events I attend, and things of interest happening here.

Here I share my thoughts, goals, and experiences as I continually try to bring more magic, beauty, and love into my life. Musings on my interests, life, spirituality, and other topics.

I’m currently working on a project called “Faerie Dark”. It’s a created world, built around fairytales and stories I’ve been reading and writing since I was a child. I share stories, inspirations, and new developments to the world.

Sexuality, gender, and how we express ourselves physically is of great interest to me. I identify as a queer, feminine creature and in these writings I explore what that means to me, how it influences my life, and how I cultivate that expression. My observations are heavily influenced by my spiritual relationship to the goddess Venus and my studies of companionship and sacred sexuality.
